Fall classes start August 23rd.
Level Breakdown
Level 3 Team
- Consists of gymnasts that have been selected to compete
for Team KIPS from the recreational program.
Selection is determined by workout ethic, willingness to accept a
challenge and motivation. These
gymnasts will practice from 4-9 hours per week.
These gymnasts will compete at Level 3 per USAG rules.
Their competition schedule will start in August and continue through
at least January (with possible competitions well into March.)
Level 4 Team
- Consists of gymnasts that have qualified by the coaches
discretion (not by USAG rules) to compete at Level 4.
Selection is determined by workout ethic, willingness to accept a
challenge, motivation to succeed and previous season’s scores.
These gymnasts will workout a minimum of 9 hours per week.
These gymnasts will compete from
August and continue to at least January (with possible competitions well
into March.)
Level 5 Team
- Consists of gymnasts that have qualified by the coaches
discretion (not by USAG rules) to compete at Level 5.
This team is by invitation only.
Selection is determined by workout ethic, willingness to accept a
challenge, skill mastery, motivation to succeed and previous season’s
scores. These gymnasts will
workout a minimum of 9 hours per week.
These gymnasts will compete from August and continue to at least
January (with possible competitions well into March.)
Level 6 Team
- Consists of gymnasts that have qualified by the coaches
discretion (not by USAG rules) to compete at Level 6.
This team is by invitation only.
Selection is determined by workout ethic, willingness to accept a
challenge, skill mastery, motivation to succeed and previous season’s
scores. These gymnasts will
workout a minimum of 12 hours per week.
These gymnasts will compete from August and continue to at least
January (with possible competitions well into March.)
Level 7 and above
- Consists of gymnasts that have qualified by the coaches
discretion and by USAG rules.
This is by invitation only.
Selection is determined by workout ethic, willingness to accept a challenge,
skill mastery, motivation to succeed and previous season’s scores.
These gymnasts will train anywhere from 15-20 hours per week.
The competition schedule is January through June.
These gymnasts will have individually choreographed routines which
will be at the cost of the gymnast’s family.
At any time a gymnast can be promoted or demoted based on a
change in attitude, discipline, motivation and/or participation.
Space is limited in the Team KIPS program
and preference must be given to those with the highest work ethic and best
attitudes.
